Vice President, Data & Platform Solutions

We’re focused on driving the maximum value for our people, our capabilities and our media investments for some of the world’s leading brands. **Overview** The Data and Platform Solutions teams is a team of experts that help to deliver better marketing decisions using data and apply expertise in how audience data can help impact a client’s business. The VP, Data & Platform Solutions is a leader who will contribute and oversee the audience strategy via audience creation and management of technology platforms that drive better marketing decisions. This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages processes around targeting data, generates reports to understand key insights, and overall executes on the client’s investments in data and their technology stack. The successful candidate is a curious problem solver with a knack for telling stories through data. **Responsibilities** Strategic Leadership and Client Impact + Lead the development of comprehensive data strategies that enhance client marketing performance and drive measurable business outcomes. + Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex data concepts into actionable strategies. + Drive innovation in data activation, including audience segmentation, identity resolution, and personalization. + Align data strategy with media investment decisions, ensuring platform capabilities are fully leveraged to optimize media performance. + Partner with investment, analytics, and strategy teams to integrate data insights into planning and optimization frameworks. Platform and Technology Management + Ensure best practices in data governance, privacy compliance (CCPA, GDPR), and first-party data utilization. + Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, cookieless solutions, contextual intelligence) and develop future-proofed data strategies. + Establish and standardize processes for audience creation, data activation, and measurement methodologies. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration + Lead and mentor a team of data strategists and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. + Build strong relationships with internal teams (media, analytics, investment, strategy) and external partners (platforms, vendors, data providers). Thought Leadership + Develop and present thought leadership on industry trends, ad tech evolution, and data-driven media approaches. + Represent our agency in client meetings and industry events, to position the agency as a leader in data strategy. **Qualifications** + B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Data Science + 10+ years of experience preferred in digital media, ad technology, ad operations, or analytics + Strong understanding of first-party data utilization, privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR), and future proofing data strategies. + Ability to translate complex data strategies into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical audiences. + Naturally curious and thrives in environments that require out-of-the-box thinking + Strong project management, leadership, and presentation skills. + Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects with the ability to work independently and in a team setting. **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
