Kroll is seeking a Vice President of Data Products to strengthen the company’s enterprise data products strategy, transforming how data and AI drive innovation, efficiency, and decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer (CDO), this role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data product strategy that enhances business performance through scalable, AI-driven solutions. Acting as a key advocate for stakeholders, sponsors, and customers, the VP of Data Products will ensure that business needs are clearly defined and aligned with product development while overseeing the creation of a Data Marketplace that enables self-service access to curated data assets and fosters a data-driven culture across the organization.
This position requires a visionary leader who can bridge business objectives with cutting-edge technology, driving the end-to-end development of data products from ideation to deployment while validating their impact through measurable outcomes. The VP will work closely with business leaders, data engineers, data governance stewards and analytics teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-value data solutions that enhance Kroll’s service offerings and contribute to revenue growth. Additionally, they will spearhead AI-driven initiatives that optimize decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen Kroll’s competitive edge. Role Responsibilities:
Champion the Product Vision – Drive and instill the product vision throughout its lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify High-Impact Opportunities – Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint and prioritize initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational efficiencies. Leverage AI & Emerging Technologies – Research and contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI-driven solutions to enhance business capabilities. Establish a Product Mindset – Build a cross-functional team structure that supports agile, high-quality solution delivery. Define & Maintain the Product Roadmap – Work closely with business leaders and the Chief Data Office to develop and execute a comprehensive product delivery roadmap. Optimize Customer Experience – Develop and continuously validate use cases to enhance customer experience and maximize Data value. Data Expertise & Use Case Innovation – Become an SME on Data, identifying new opportunities to leverage existing Data assets. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Foster relationships with business product owners, Data engineers, Data scientists, and analysts to align product needs with delivery capabilities. Drive Adoption of Data & AI Products – Lead the integration of new products, platforms, and Data assets to optimize Data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills:
Product & Data Strategy – Proven experience in developing and executing Data product strategies. AI & Emerging Tech Awareness – Strong understanding of AI and its applications in product strategy. Leadership & Team Building – Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Stakeholder Management – Strong ability to engage, align, and influence multiple business stakeholders. Agile Methodologies – Deep knowledge of Agile software development and the ability to mentor teams in best practices. Communication & Negotiation – Excellent presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills to drive alignment and execution.
Qualifications & Experience:
10+ years of experience in Data Product management, Data Engineering, Data Science or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Deep expertise in Product management, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Governance. Strong background in Data architecture, Data Management tools, analytics platforms, and cloud-based Data solutions Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional Data initiatives that align with business objectives and drive measurable impact. Experience developing and implementing processes, procedures, and controls to improve user satisfaction and loyalty, as well as drive operational efficiencies. Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment and at ease with change and transformation. As a key member of the CDO management team, provide strong leadership and support and encourage the company's values Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex Data concepts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

The current salary range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000
