Job Overview


As the Vice-President, Digital Sales & Client Experience, you will be at the forefront of driving Simplii Financial’s digital platform and sales strategy, shaping the future of our client interactions, and leading our journey towards becoming a leading digital financial institution in Canada. This role is pivotal in defining and executing our digital strategy to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.

Reporting to the Executive Vice-President and Head, Simplii Financial, this role will oversee and lead all Digital functions for Simplii Financial including Digital Strategy and Delivery, Digital Sales and Distribution, Digital Experience Design and Omni-Channel Client Experience. This role will define, execute on and operationalize the Digital channels strategy for all Simplii client-facing digital properties (.com; Online Banking, Mobile Banking). You will have the opportunity to innovate and lead groundbreaking digital strategies, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance client experiences and drive significant business growth.

What You’ll be Doing

Digital Strategy & Delivery: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.

Sales & Distribution Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to maximize digital sales and revenue through innovative marketing campaigns and digital client engagement tactics.

End-to-end Client Journey Management: Own design, execution and evolution of end-to-end client journeys with a view to optimizing client acquisition and retention across digital and contact center channels.

Client Experience Design: Champion user-centric design principles to create seamless and engaging digital experiences.

People Management: Build, inspire and guide a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on innovation and client-centricity. Approximate team size of 50 members.

Data-driven and Tech-first management: Leverage advanced analytics and MarTech solutions (Adobe, Braze, Salesforce) to drive personalized client interactions and optimize digital sales strategies.

Influence and collaboration: Collaborate across Product, Marketing, Strategy and Distribution teams to drive the successful execution of Simplii’s digital sales and revenue growth strategy.

Partnerships Management: Manage existing and establish new strategic partnerships - Big Tech, MarTech, Data Platform, Digital and Client Engagement vendors.

Risk and Compliance: Understand, manage and own the risk and compliance governance infrastructure related to Simplii’s digital product and service offerings.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive senior leadership experience in Digital Marketing & Sales, Digital Commerce, Digital Channels Strategy, Digital Delivery, Digital Experience & Design, and Omni-Channel Client Experience.

Minimum 15+ years of leadership experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.

Expertise in digital transformation and strategic Digital MarTech initiatives.

Superior communication and organizational skills.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.
