Business Unit Overview:
The Executive Recruiting team is a high performing global team that supports Managing Director and strategic hiring across the BlackRock franchise. Since 2012, we have completed hundreds of assignments across all of BlackRock’s business units and have outperformed or equalled our retained providers on nearly all of our other KPI’s (diversity, time-to-hire, etc.)
Role Description:
The Executive Recruiter will be responsible for independently leading a high-touch and world-class end-to-end executive search process for Managing Director level and strategic searches for BlackRock’s Investments and Client Businesses platform in EMEA. This includes all front-line functions across investments (public, private, index markets) and client businesses (institutional and wealth channels)
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee a high-touch, cradle-to-grave, recruiting process that includes research, sourcing, assessment, offer negotiation, closing and onboardingSourcing and assessing qualified candidates for open roles and maintaining a pipeline via market mapping, conducting research and leveraging additional recruiting toolsHeavy emphasis on creative direct sourcing of external talentManaging search firm relationships/leveraging agency expertise (albeit very limited)Providing consultative support to senior business and HR stakeholders, sharing relevant market insights and competitive intelligenceCapture and report on key metrics that show results, trends and opportunities in key talent markets and supported businessPartnering with the HR Executives & Talent Management to support critical succession planning needsMeet new/recent hires to leverage referrals and competitor intelligenceResponsible for timely production and delivery of search progress reports to internal clientsRegular update meetings and frequent communication throughout the recruitment processShare manager/stakeholder feedback and appropriately disposition all candidateMeet or exceed hiring and cost avoidance goals while proactively building a diverse pipeline of top talent

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock’s hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities.
