Kroll’s Investigations, Diligence and Compliance (IDC) practice assists clients in Forensic Investigations and delivering actionable data and insight business intelligence that help clients worldwide make critical decisions and mitigate risk.

As Senior Vice President within Kroll’s team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you will be a senior member with a focus on executing investigation and compliance projects, together with business intelligence. Apart from executing projects, you will also be expected to identify new business opportunities with private/public companies, law firms and investors based in Malaysia. 

Responsibilities:

Apart from supporting the IDC team on business developments matters in Malaysia, the candidate is also expected to be able to execute projects using methods including public domain research, books of accounts review, digital forensics, interviews and field investigation. 

Some of the key responsibilities include: 

Act as a key member of the team in matters of internal investigation, fraud, anti-bribery and corruption issues, compliance, fraud risk management and other relevant matterAlong with the Managing Director, development and management of projects, throughout the life and the engagement: meeting with client to discuss needs, preparation of commercial and technical proposal, agreement of engagement, development of working plan and budget, allocation of resources, direction of project team members, delivery and quality assurance and project invoicingMentor, develop and oversee staff to ensure the execution of client objectives and deliverablesContribute to the professional development and evaluation of junior project team members, encourage behavior transformationDemonstrate excellent judgment, be commercially-focused and be driven by professional excellence and a commitment to the Kroll brand.

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant (or a similar degree) with minimum of 8+ years of experience including expertise in the areas of investigation, intelligence, forensic accounting, compliance and other forensic servicesAn added CFE or CCEP qualification would be preferredKnowledge of digital forensics, OSINT, data analytics (tools/languages) would be a plusExperience working with diverse teamsMust be able to think independently and make sound decisionsSome experience in business development is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) that help represent diverse communities. Must be proficient in MS office products, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project Management

The role requires a high level of organisational ability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to think strategically and be commercially focused, an analytical mind and an ability to build relationships.
