**Qualifications:**
+ Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in any business-related field.
+ Experience: At least 8 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in treasury and loans operations with in-depth knowledge on financial instruments including FX, derivatives, securities and money market instruments.
+ Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of BSP Manual of Regulations related to loans, securities, derivatives and foreign exchange.
+ Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SWIFT and other related trade and payment settlement systems and reconciliation processes.
+ Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and people management abilities.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Transaction Settlement: Oversee the accurate and timely settlement of loans, foreign exchange, money market, securities, and derivatives transactions. This includes reviewing and verifying routine vouchers, input monitors, reports, and related documents, as well as authorizing the sending of payment orders and cable advice/messages.
+ Resiliency Measures: Ensure the department's resiliency measures are in place, particularly for executing treasury transactions on internal/local settlement systems (e.g. SWIFT, PDDTS, PhilPASS Plus Participant Browser, Custody Connect, etc.).
+ Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements (AML, BSP, IFRS, etc.).
+ Process Optimization: Optimize treasury back-office processes through automation and technology.
+ Collaboration & Coordination: Effectively communicate with front office, accounting, compliance, risk, and other related stakeholders, including external banking partners, to achieve business goals and operational efficiency.
+ Team Management: Manage staff performance reviews, coaching, discipline, and recruitment of department members.
