The VP, Finance Reporting Lead Analyst (C13) is senior professional position responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy. **In this role, you’re expected to:** + Support the execution of critical deliverables tied to Regulatory Reporting Remediation Commitments and inter-dependencies are defined and managed. + Assess the direct implications of new issues, determine their prioritization, remediation, manage the cohesive remediation planning, implementation and impact of remediation. + Support and substantiate the development of the BCBS 239 Compliance process. + Monitor and **manage key metrics** associated with reports to identify challenges and issues. Support the implementation of processes and controls to mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting. + Manage **process improvement** efforts to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process. + **Partner with Risk & Controls** team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure. Direct the team to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process. **As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:** + 6-8+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. + Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports such as those mentioned above along with exposure to Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting and stress testing frameworks like CCAR. + Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information. + Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change. + Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them. + Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team. ​ Education: + Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience + Master’s degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
