Background :
The Head of Marketing, Charles River Development and Alpha Platform supports the development and execution of global marketing and communication activities for the technology and software component of State Street’s front-to-back platform, State Street Alpha®, Charles River Development (CRD). Investment and wealth managers, asset owners and insurers in over 30 countries rely on CRD to manage nearly USD $58 trillion in assets. Together with State Street’s middle and back office services, Charles River’s cloud-based front office technology forms the foundation of the Alpha Platform. With easy access to aggregated data, analytics and real-time insights, clients can collaborate with confidence, work faster and make better decisions.
As a successful candidate for this full-time role, you will be a proactive partner to the business and help define the objectives of marketing activities and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. You may also be asked to make recommendations for improvements to our marketing approach, processes and procedures to further enhance our strategy.

Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
Work with the wider marketing team members and business unit, sales and coverage teams to assist in defining marketing objectives and a comprehensive, combined marketing strategy Directly responsible for ensuring those plans are executed on by the team within specified timeframes Acts as the primary interface between marketing teams. Ensures that Alpha and CRD have a single point of contact to deal with for any requests, questions or support Regularly communicates the most recent Global Marketing updates to the Alpha and CRD team and seeks their input as those plans and programs are developed to ensure CRD needs are appropriately factored in from an early stage Draft and submit budget proposals, accruals and recommend changes where necessary Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with the coverage and regional teams, vital to the success of the campaign / project
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
7-9 years relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a financial services organizationA degree-level educationExcellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of communications best practicesExperience managing marketing projects: online communications, events, brand/advertising, editorial, partnerships/sponsorships. This entails a good understanding of all marketing channels, including interactive and social mediaOutstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from all disciplines, backgrounds and cultures to produce content that is interesting and relevantWorking in matrix structures and cross cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globallyEnsuring that the highest level of the integrity and ethical behavior is continuously adhered toFlexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zonesSkills required :

Salary Range:
$135,000 - $210,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
