Position Overview

Summary/Role Description:

Serve as the General Manager responsible for all aspects of driving the Philadelphia Commercial business, as well as the P&L. Their main KPI will be to establish and deliver the brand’s financial targets.Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for Philadelphia Commercial based on consumer and customer insights, defining brand direction, identity, and guidelinesConduct regular market research and competitive analysis for the brand to inform strategic brand decisionsDefine and target specific customer groups with a full funnel marketing planOversee the lifecycle of products from launch through end-of-life, driving product innovation based on insights, ensuring alignment with market trends, and ensuring the product offering is simple but comprehensive of customer needs.Enhance brand presence through event marketing, strategic partnerships, and and/or category-specific initiativesProvide necessary support and tools for the Sales teams, including creation of sell in materials for new products, training tools, and other collateralWork closely with Sales team members focused on the Philadelphia Commercial providing direction and measurementCollaborate with the Pricing Lead to establish and maintain profitable and competitive pricing strategies for the brandMonitor and analyze brand and category performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary to achieve business goalsLead a team of marketing and product experts setting objectives, coaching, and providing personal development. This role reports to the SVP, Marketing and Brands. 

Qualifications:

Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Management or similar relevant subject; MBA preferred10+ years of relevant experience in brand management, marketing, product management, sales, channel management or similar; preferred experience in flooring industry and/or Commercial business with a focus on the mainstreet5+ years leading peopleDemonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skillsAbility to leverage data and insights to create and clearly articulate a brand vision, strategy, and category-specific plans, as well as operationalize those plans
