Job Description:

We are looking to hire a VP in Private Securitization for the Asset-Backed Securities Group within the Global Markets division at TD Securities.

Key responsibilities

Develop complex financial models to support transaction execution, which includes credit analysis and communication with the rating agencies.Prepare credit applications for prospective transactions, discussing the counterparty, structural features, and identifying the deal-specific risks and mitigants.Meeting with and pitching clients on securitization proposals and structures to secure mandates to lead inaugural programs and participate in existing facilities. Meetings are facilitated in the United States and require travel to the client's site.Perform prospect and sector research, assisting in the development of marketing and client-related materials.Review legal documentation, ensuring documents are congruent with the transaction's structure, and summarize documents into term sheets for review by Risk team.Utilize financial models and cash flow analysis to research new asset classes and provide high-level risk assessment.Act as a resource for clients to prepare monthly reporting, document transaction mechanics, and determine funding capacity.Provide monthly monitoring, reporting, due diligence, and credit reviews of existing clients/transactions, and ensure compliance with both TD and external regulations.Support senior team members with internal projects and ongoing reporting requirements.Support the junior team and recruiting efforts through mentorship initiatives within the group, TD Securities, and externally

The VP Sales and Trading TDS develops an institutional investor base in the U.S. to fund the Bank and to place U.S. and Canadian money market positions. The position liaises closely with the Bank's other operations in Canada, Europe, and the U.S. to assist in meeting the Bank's objectives.

Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics.Series 7 and 635-7 Years of related experienceMust be detail oriented and possess problem-solving skillsMust be able to work independently with minimal supervision and establish prioritiesProficient in interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
