Vice President, Saint Agnes Medical Foundation

SUMMARY

Reporting to the President and Market Leader, this position is responsible for collaborating in the leadership of the development and monitoring of employed physician practices and for monitoring and strengthening business entities to benefit the Medical Center. The Vice President is responsible for the development, administration and functioning of key ambulatory programs, departments and services located on the main hospital campus and at clinic locations operated by Saint Agnes Medical Foundation (SAMF). In collaboration with Saint Agnes executive and physician leaders, the Vice President will develop, execute and evaluate a physician alignment strategy consistent with the strategic plan. Specifically, the incumbent will direct the assessment, recruitment, credentialing, contracting, onboarding, development, retention, performance management, succession planning, outreach and provider relations functions to improve, expand and strengthen Saint Agnes relationships with Saint Agnes Medical Providers (SAMP), the qualifying multispecialty medical group including hospital based physicians, and affiliated physicians. In addition, the Vice President will support network development by coordinating all physician alignment activities including commercial APM development and formation and leadership of SAMP.  The Vice President will work closely with the SAMP sole shareholder to carry out delegated administrative responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications, marketing, human resources, finance, or a healthcare-related field , and actively pursuing a Master’s Degree is required.  Master’s Degree preferred.
2. Ten (10) years of experience in physician recruitment/relations, sales, marketing, business/network development and/or other related experience, preferably in a leadership role, is required.
3. Strong working knowledge of human resources, business development, physician compensation, legal and contracting processes, physician credentialing and referencing guidelines, and state and federal laws, especially those governing relationships between hospitals and physicians is required.
4. Demonstrated success in developing and executing recruitment, retention and alignment strategies and programs.
5. Excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal and networking skills, especially with physicians, medical staff leadership and Hospital executives is required.
6. Excellent organizational, analytical, prioritization and decision-making skills, including the prioritization and execution of multiple critical assignments, and the ability to resolve problems in a diplomatic professional manner is required.
7. Ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented and shared leadership environment, and work cooperatively with the executive management team to meet the needs of Saint Agnes patients, physicians, employees, and community.
8. Strong leadership skills and ability to foster the growth and development of direct reports (hospital managers and directors) is required.
9. Ability to set and organize own work priorities, adapt to frequent changes, work productively under time constraints, and work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions.
10. Ability to gain trust and respect of patients, staff, management team, and physicians.

11. Ability to create performance and volume growth expectations of Outpatient clinics.

Pay Range ($108.46 - $162.68)
