Inviting applications for the role of Vice President – R2R GPO
Function: Service Delivery Leader/ Consultant
In this role, the VP R2R GPO will spearhead Genpact’s digital transformation agenda within the Record to Report domain, working closely with senior leadership across Genpact and client organizations. This leadership role demands rich experience in R2R transformation, strong controllership expertise, and the ability to drive large-scale digital initiatives—especially deployment and adoption of platforms like BlackLine. The incumbent will be accountable for value realization, operational excellence, and transformational delivery, ensuring alignment with global best practices and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Digital Transformation and Continuous Improvement
Define, drive, and execute the continuous improvement and digital transformation roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership and US R2R Business GPOs.
Lead end-to-end digital transformation initiatives, including the design, implementation, and adoption of BlackLine and other financial automation tools.
Partner with client stakeholders, BlackLine teams, and Genpact internal functions to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and measurable benefits realization.
Establish and nurture strong partnerships with US R2R Business GPOs to align transformation goals with enterprise-wide standards.
Utilize Lean methodologies, automation, and digital tools to enhance productivity, drive value creation, and assure revenue integrity.
Lead Genpact’s agenda around Agentic solutions and Gen AI technology within the R2R space to accelerate innovation and process automation.
Drive global processes towards best-in-class performance and alignment with industry standards.
Implement robust governance and risk mitigation frameworks to ensure operational stability and compliance.
R2R / Controllership Leadership
Oversee end-to-end controllership for complex, regulated portfolios—especially for publicly listed companies—including accounting operations, GAAP/STAT and IFRS reporting, investment accounting, and financial systems management.
Well versed with accounting policies, Chart of Accounts design, and creation and running of Centers of Excellence (COEs).
Strengthen SOX controls, audit readiness, and documentation in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Drive modernization of finance technology landscape, including tools such as BlackLine, JD Edwards, and Baan ERPs, automating processes to reduce risk and improve cycle times.
Lead global teams, manage talent development, and ensure compliance with both local and global regulatory requirements.
Manage complex transitions like divestitures, migrations, TSAs, and engage with senior leaders on liquidity management, disclosures, and audit processes.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Post-graduate degree such as MBA, CA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
progressive experience in controllership, R2R, or financial operations within global, highly regulated environments—especially within publicly listed companies.
Demonstrated leadership in driving digital transformation, Lean/6 Sigma methodology, and finance automation initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of accounting operations, GAAP/STAT and IFRS reporting, SOX compliance, and audit readiness.
Proven hands-on experience leading BlackLine implementations and other digital finance transformation platforms.
Experience managing large, globally distributed teams and leading complex portfolio transitions.
Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) and global exposure is highly desirable.
Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certifications will be an added advantage.

Excellent communicator and collaborator skilled at people development within global, matrixed environments.
Ability to build credible relationships with US and global business stakeholders to achieve alignment and drive shared goals.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is 200000 to 220000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
