Job Duties: Vice President with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Analyze capital structures and advise debt issuers on various considerations including leverage, liquidity, maturity management, indenture covenants, and reporting requirements. Prepare detailed analysis to be presented to CFOs, Treasurers and Finance staff on financing optimization strategies related to asset-based funding including warehouse funding, term loans, asset sales and purchases and securitizations. Engage and coordinate with external parties including outside counsel, third-party accounting firms, rating agencies, and trustees, as well as internal parties including legal, compliance, controllers, and operations in connection with transaction execution. Structure and prepare transaction documentation and offering materials including asset stratifications, cashflow models, drafting of credit agreements, offering memorandums, indentures and other transaction documents. Execute securitization transactions by preparing marketing materials, speaking directly with investors and working closely with the firm’s sales and trading division to market the transaction. Prepare external models and presentations, including capital structure analysis, loan valuation and cost of financing implications of contemplated transactions. Present to clients the methodology and reasoning behind the analysis. Review Credit Agreements, Loan Purchase and Sale Agreements, or Indentures and Offering Memorandums related to securitizations, direct lending facilities and asset purchases and sales, including conducting analysis of terms, representations and warranties, covenants and transaction conditions. Coordinate internal processes with other deal team members to ensure all requirements, such as compliance reviews, internal conflicts checks and KYC are satisfied for the Firm to participate in securitizations, financing facilities, and asset purchase agreements. Prepare detailed training materials and lead training sessions for interns and junior analysts in the Financing Group. Review and enhance internal processes and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency and minimize operational risk. Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external clients, working closely with various teams across IBD Classic, Global Markets, Credit, Compliance and Legal.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with Master’s degree or five (5) years of experience with Bachelor’s degree with the following: communicating complex finance concepts including securitization capital structures, economic and legal lending terms and risks, and representations and warranties to senior management; conducting credit risk research and analysis; analyzing debt instruments, conducting research on secured debt capital markets and participating in the debt ratings process; using business software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as financial databases and third-party research sources including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Moody's, S&P Ratings and Intex to prepare presentations on complex financial matters; analyzing and interpreting credit documents, including term sheets and credit agreements for financing transactions for asset-based transactions including lending facilities, term loans, securitizations and asset purchases; working with data analysis tools and methodologies, including cash flow modeling and debt structures; and conducting analysis on a broad range of assets and industries including, auto loans and leases, consumer loans, credit card receivables, real estate leases, student loans issued by banks, financial technology companies and specialty finance companies. License Requirement: FINRA Series 79 and 63. Domestic travel required approximately once or twice a month for business meetings. All travel reimbursed by the Firm.

Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $174,000 - $300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
