What are we looking for?
State Street Alpha Service product team is seeking a versatile individual in a Vice President role with strong product development, product life cycle management, client relationship, and business analysis skills for the development and support of services and product offerings within the Account Onboarding and account life cycle management area. This qualified individual will develop and deliver products, business solutions, and strategies aligned with our Alpha Account onboarding and data integrations with downstream consumers. This leader will focus on driving front, middle, and back-office service innovations that support and streamline end-to-end integration, servicing, and interoperability for our Alpha clients.

The successful candidate must be skilled in analyzing our complex business service flows across front, middle, and back office operating models for our Alpha Clients, with a focus on post-trade execution lifecycle products and services. They will also be driving the strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services while driving program/project execution and reporting.
What you will be responsible for?
Product Development:
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for portfolio onboarding data and workflow solutions, from ideation and business case development to design, implementation, and delivery, ensuring seamless new account setup and lifecycle maintenance.Leverage data analysis techniques to inform solution design and identify potential risks and challenges.Embed Agile Practices into product development cycles:Lead and participate in daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions to ensure clear progress and timely issue resolution.Collaborate with Agile Scrum Masters and IT teams to bridge communication between business and technology stakeholders.Incorporate client feedback iteratively by involving clients in regular demo sessions and milestone reviews, ensuring products meet user expectations.Drive initiatives to improve system redundancies and operational efficiencies within Account services workflow, UI, ODS and downstream consuming systems.Product Solution and Strategy:
Develop and execute a product strategy for portfolio and account reference data solutions, ensuring alignment with industry trends, technology advancements, and client needs. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand the technology landscape and adopt a future-proof product strategy. Create and manage a product roadmap, outlining feature development, enhancements, and implementation timelines to drive continuous product evolution.Gather and analyze customer feedback, translating insights into actionable product improvements that enhance user experience and satisfaction. Build strong business cases with quantifiable outcomes, ensuring a clear return on investment (ROI) and strategic alignment with broader business objectives.Stakeholders Management:
Establish strong cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Technology, and Product teams to drive integrated business solutions that support client and strategic business goals.Gather and document detailed business and functional requirements, ensuring seamless collaboration between product, operations, and technology teams.Work closely with product implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to deployment, driving successful product delivery and client adoption.What we value?

Deep expertise in portfolio and account reference data across front, middle, and back-office functions within asset management, wealth management, and alternative investmentsStrong analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives. Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.Experience as a Product Owner working with Agile methodologies, driving product development from ideation to execution. Expertise in designing new solutions by analyzing requirements, assessing system capabilities, and drafting detailed business and functional requirements. Strong attention to detail with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis, ensuring portfolio data structures align with business needs. Ability to interpret entity-relationship diagrams and logical data models, validating system designs against business requirements.Integrate emerging technologies such as automation, AI, and distributed ledger technology (DLT) to optimize operational workflows for portfolio reference data and lifecycle events.Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry trend research, with a focus on new account onboarding and lifecycle maintenance workflows, to drive innovation and differentiation.Represent the product team in executive-level discussions, ensuring alignment with State Street Alpha’s strategic objectives and contributing to the broader product portfolio vision.Serve as a thought leader within the organization, providing expertise on data products, workflow automation, and product strategy, while mentoring junior team members.Knowledge of State Street’s technology infrastructure for front, middle, and back-office services is a plus.Education & Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in business, technology, or a related field. CFA, MBA, or Masters preferred.10+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the for large financial service or asset management firms. Through understanding and knowledge of end-to-end operational processes, risk and interdependencies.Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex fin-tech products.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Apply strong business judgment to surface implications and practical, high impact options.Proven experience in product management, including product market research, development, product delivery, and client implementations.About State Street:

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
