Join us! **Responsibilities;** + Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. + Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements. + Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes. + Provide support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. + Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. + Communicate project information through presentations, technical reports, or white papers. + Monitor system operation to detect potential problems. + Evaluate existing systems to determine effectiveness and suggest changes to meet organizational requirements. + Understand system analysis and drive discussions with various tech partners on the user requirements and document system flows. + Understand financial advisory business and test the user stories based on their acceptance criteria in JIRA Stories. + Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications. + Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging. + Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment. + Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka. + Utilize JIRA and Agile tools to create user stories and refine business requirements. + Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. **Required Skills & Experience** + Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and + 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. + Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: + Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python, Java, Spring Boot, and rest specifications; + Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging; + Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment; + Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka; and, + Utilizing JIRA and Agile tools to create user stories and refine business requirements.
