Vice President - Chief Practice Officer, West Central Region

The Vice President – Chief Practice Officer provides executive leadership in partnership with the Chief Practice Executive for a multispecialty provider group within IU Health. This leader participates in financial, strategic, and operational planning to ensure patient accessibility and high-quality patient care is delivered in a patient centered environment. The Chief Practice Officer leads, manages, and is accountable for practice administration and operations to assure provider group goals are achieved, in environments that cultivate strong provider and team member engagement, and professional satisfaction. This leader collaborates with executive and senior leadership and front-line team members, executes organizational development strategy, and motivates change initiatives across the portfolio to optimize organizational potential and achieve strategic and operational objectives. 

Key Relationships:

Reports to: Vice President – Chief Physician Executive, West Central Region

Direct Reports:  9 Administrative Directors 

Location: Lafayette, Indiana 

Candidate Qualifications:

Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

Bachelor's Degree Required. Master's Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Advanced knowledge of physician billing and payment systems. Advanced knowledge of physician compensation programs. Minimum of 10 years relevant leadership experience in health care required.
