Vice President - Corporate Finance

The Vice President, Corporate Finance provides strategic and operational leadership for all corporate finance functions, ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of CCAC's financial operations. As a member of the leadership team, the role drives fiscal discipline, technological modernization, and risk management practices that safeguard CCAC's financial health and sustainability. The VP partners across divisions to strengthen financial stewardship, optimize resources, drive continuous improvement in process and technology, and support strategic decision-making that advances CCAC's mission and long-term priorities. Role Responsibilities: Oversee all corporate finance operations--including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Corporate Accounting, and Treasury--to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory standards. Lead the development and enforcement of robust internal controls, financial procedures, and reporting frameworks that uphold transparency and operational excellence. Lead the preparation and integrity of financial statements and reports, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and funder requirements. Manage all government and funder audits at the corporate level, maintaining robust internal controls, effective financial policies, and consistent fiscal accountability. Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and technologies to enhance accuracy, scalability, and agility. Lead modernization initiatives that leverage automation, digital tools, and process innovation to strengthen reporting, forecasting, and compliance capabilities. Champion adaptive strategies that position Finance as a strategic enabler of organizational performance and long-term sustainability. Manage and cultivate relationships with external auditors, banking partners, regulatory bodies, and other key financial stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting standards while maintaining CCAC's reputation for integrity and fiscal responsibility. Represent Finance in cross-sector collaborations and forums to share best practices and strengthen external trust. Partner with executive peers and divisional leaders to align financial strategies with organizational objectives and CCAC's strategic priorities. Provide financial guidance, scenario planning, and performance tracking that inform enterprise decisions and resource allocation. Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to monitor exposures, ensure enterprise resilience, and continuously refine financial systems and practices. Provide strategic financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders that translate complex data into actionable insights, supporting executive decision-making, forecasting, and resource optimization. Lead and develop a high-performing Corporate Finance team by setting clear goals, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability, service, and innovation. Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management to ensure team members are well-equipped to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations. Promote collaboration across subfunctions--Accounting, Treasury, AP/AR--to ensure coordinated execution and shared success. Invest in staff growth through mentoring, cross-training, and professional development opportunities that build technical expertise and leadership capability. Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Preferred Education: MBA or Master's degree in related field Minimum Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible Finance and Accounting leadership experience including oversight of Corporate Accounting functions Preferred Experience: 10+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting leadership experience, including oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Corporate Accounting functions Qualifications and Skills: Minimum Strong command of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards; Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Workday Adaptive) and Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close processes Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage performance; Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting external audits Preferred: Familiarity with fund accounting, government contracts, and grant compliance Advanced skills in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and KPI development Experience in process improvement, automation, and digital enablement initiatives Experience in a mission-driven or nonprofit organization Certification and Licensure: Minimum: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred: CFA, CGMA, or other advanced financial certifications Physical Requirements: x Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day x Push and pull objects up to 10 pounds x Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs or more at a time x Lift up to 10 pounds Additional Requirements: x Background check
