Vice President - Corporate Reputation, Crisis + Internal Communications

**Overview**
This position will work with senior communications counselors at the firm to build and manage corporate reputation campaigns and employee communications programs for a wide variety of organizations from Fortune 500 companies to regional companies and non-profit organizations. Our work focuses on enhancing an organization’s reputation through a communications lens by building strong internal communications practices, conducting proactive and reactive media relations and promoting community engagement. We also support teams with crisis mitigation involving internal stakeholders and/or external actors or events.
A successful candidate will have experience supporting clients on multifaceted corporate reputation programs, internal communications and labor relations campaigns, excellent interpersonal skills, and possesses strong skills in developing strategic insights, building and managing programs, and meeting client needs. Vigorous attention to detail and a willingness to be an agile, flexible team player are necessary. The ideal candidate will have a background in reputation management, internal communications, employee and/or labor relations or political campaigns. Experience working with elements of legal, diversity, equity and inclusion, and corporate communications is also a plus.
The position will be based in Washington, DC, where our culture includes being in the office three days per week.

**Qualifications**
+ 7-10 years of experience in strategic internal communications, public relations, public affairs and labor relations campaigns, political (executive or legislative branch) or corporate communications.
+ Experience developing and executing campaigns to enhance an organization’s reputation as well as internal communications and employee engagement.
+ Interpersonal skills, including working quickly, effectively managing a team, negotiating approvals diplomatically, and maintaining composure and production quality under tight deadlines.
+ Strong project coordination skills and the ability to recommend and commence work with minimal direction.
+ Experience engaging as a client leader in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to establish and meet deadlines on time and budget, work under pressure, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ Proven ability to develop and edit high-quality written materials, including briefing papers, bylines, analytical pieces, website/creative copy, press releases, talking points, and more.
+ Excellent writing and editing skills that reflect an ability to clarify and simplify complicated issues and diverse subject matter, as well as versatility in tone and technique, depending on the author and audience.

The anticipated salary range for the Vice President level is $110,000-$155,000.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
