In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Own the Corporate Supply Chain initiatives supporting a broader Digital Transformation effort across Emerson Operations. Leadership on Industry 4.0 awareness and adoption to create a more resilient factory of the future. Develop the organizations functional expertise within, but not limited to, the value stream processes of material planning, inventory and parameter management, replenishment and demand signaling (ie, Pull). Champion and drive adoptions of these programs, which reduce supply chain lead time, improve flexibility which directly improve timely Delivery and Inventory Turns. Drive operational perfection best practices, such as daily management, standard work, 5S workplace organization and effective problem solving. Serve as an expert resource to our operating business units needing in-depth knowledge on continuous improvement tools. Leadership in developing and implementing a future state vision on pan-Emerson Supply Chain solutions which enable leverage and operational execution of centralized spend categories. Oversight administration of legacy corporate solutions. Establish Data Science expertise within Corporate Supply Chain to enable a step change growth of predictive analytics focused on solving problems on supply chain planning, commodity forecasting, logistics operations. Continue the implementation of validated Business Analytics tools (ie, CoE), and minimize resources allocated to run duplicative reporting. Own all in person and online training content for Supply Chain, continuous improvement and operational perfection Enable change in the organization, functioning as a catalyst for the organization to embrace and implement validated and emerging strategies to drive speed, quality, safety and reliability in our global processes. For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Business Relevant years of professional level experience with multi-national or consulting company commensurate with the level of this position. Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Project Management Demonstrated ability to achieve results in real world business situations or applications coupled with the ability to inspire and train others Demonstrated leadership and track record of influencing others toward implementing key tools and strategies while developing competencies in a complex and diverse environment Strong data analysis and digital literacy Strong verbal and written communication and professional presentation skills The incumbent must be adaptable and allow for a flexible work schedule This position will require 50%+ travel domestically and internationally Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
