POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Engineering will lead the engineering department, overseeing all engineering activities across multiple projects and programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management, engineering design, and team leadership within the EPC sector. The VP will work closely with the executive team, and leaders of other departments to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement the engineering strategy aligned with the company’s overall vision and business objectives Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee engineering activities by leveraging through others, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards Collaborate with department team members and other stakeholders to assess project requirements and provide technical guidance Drive innovation in engineering practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage best practices in engineering Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and driving a culture of design that facilitates safe execution of construction Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in engineering deliverables Work closely with procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions Work closely with procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions and ensure feedback is heard, reviewed and implemented where necessary Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to gather market intelligence and optimize engineering solutions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the engineering team to stay up to date with industry best practices and explore new ways to enhance the company's engineering capabilities.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with focus on Civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, or another industry-related field required. Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering within the EPC industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.PREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Proven track record of successfully managing and leading large scale engineering projects strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. Thorough understanding of project delivery methods, contract terms. Ability to think strategically and drive change within an organization Extensive knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.Benefits and Pay:

Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution. Salary $250,000- $315,000 annually, dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies.
