Responsibilities
Support strategic technical objectives, which include modernizing infrastructure, migrating to the latest, firm-sanctioned Agile tools and the migration of the platform onto containers.
Enhance the tooling, architecture, and capabilities of EFT data warehouse and validation systems.
Contribute to building automated, controlled and intuitive software solutions in support of the Agile methodology.
Provide technical support and guidance for the processes and mechanisms to support the Agile methodology and tools.
Develop data services solutions to ensure Data Warehouses provide quality and controlled data for liquidity regulatory reporting.
Design, automate, and maintain large scale, division-wide applications using Python, Java and Spring. Design, build, and maintain Data Warehouse/Data Mart platforms with expertise in Oracle PL-SQL and SQL performance tuning/optimization and stored procedures.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipeline and ETL functionality using Informatica and bespoke Python packages.
Engineer and design continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools using Ansible, Artifactory, Git and Jenkins.
Design, automate, and maintain applications using the Linux Red Hat operating System.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and
5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, division-wide applications using Python, Java and Spring;
Designing, building, and maintaining Data Warehouse/Data Mart platforms with expertise in Oracle PL-SQL and SQL performance tuning/optimization and stored procedures;
Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipeline and ETL functionality using Informatica and bespoke Python packages;
Engineering and designing continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools using Ansible, Artifactory, Git and Jenkins; and,
Designing, automating, and maintaining applications using the Linux Red Hat Operating System.
