RESPONSIBILITIES:      

Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.

Ensure the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.

Design and develop and be accountable for feature delivery.

Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality.

Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java.

Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging.

Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL and CI/CD cloud deployment.

Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch and Kafka.

Use JIRA tool and Agile best practices to manage the day-to-day tasks.

Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:  

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related; and

5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Java;

Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding, and debugging;

Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, REST APIs, Oracle PL/SQL and CI/CD cloud deployment;

Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies including Elasticsearch and Kafka; and,

Using JIRA tool and Agile best practices to manage the day-to-day tasks.
