Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Finance Accounting

The position requires excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle the transaction flow and provide direction and coordinate accounting reporting functions to ensure timely closure of period ends. The incumbent will be responsible for daily supervision and efficiency of the team. Manage and provide overall direction and guidance to deliver operational goals within assigned area and ensure timely and accurate completion of work with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You should have experience in managing large sized global FA Teams (~800 ) with all round experience in R2R, Reconciliations, Cash Apps, AP, Collections for a substantial period and possess excellent domain hands on expertise in areas of Record to Report - Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Month End process, Reconciliations, Reporting, Tax; Payroll, AP AR

Responsibilities

· Single owner for delivery through teams to deliver multi-year transformation program consisting of more than one capability center, planned and implemented as a coordinated activity, spanning across multiple business functions and geographies

Deliver per a robust and forward-looking plan that handles critical paths dependencies and identifies risks and ensures mitigationCommercial Acumen: Ability to develop outstanding pricing/cost models, design financial strategies, groundbreaking benefits and negotiations of sameProvides direction and directives to the departmental team members in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and in achieving management objectivesDesign an implementation roadmap that clearly ties breakthroughs achievement with associated client’s business outcomesEnsure period end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that accounting policies are in compliance with GAAP and stated company normsWork closely with other Accounts Departments to understand business transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for appropriately and accuratelyShare best practices with customer and identify areas of improvement within processes (Billing, Credit reconciliation process) and drive transformation projectsEnsure process governance including reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – communicate on a regular basis to discuss operational issues, key metrics, CTQ’s (internally /or externally)Review and analyse the team’s output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accountingUnderstand the SOX Regulations and ensure adherence by the teams at all timesAct as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reporting related issues in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt accurately and efficientlyEvaluate and recommend improvements to systems or other processes to maximize the use of information system resources to develop comprehensive reporting modelsProvide day to day management of the cross functional team in assigning and monitoring deliverables, and motivating and leading the teams to improve performance and work productDevelop the team through effective performance management and monthly appraisalsQualifications we seek in youMinimum Qualifications / SkillsAccounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CHAE or equivalent) or MBA FinanceDemonstrate detailed knowledge of accounting principles, systems and proceduresPreferred Qualifications/ SkillsExperience in ERP Legacy systemsExperience of handling FA Tools (eg. Blackline, HighRadius, Trinitech, workflow, etc.)
