As the VP Generative AI Platform, you will be accountable for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the firm’s foundational platform supporting all Generative AI initiatives. This role drives platform strategy, technology stack selection, and the development of reusable capabilities and centralized controls. By partnering with value streams across the organization, you’ll ensure that the Gen AI platform is scalable, secure, and user-friendly. The role also encompasses the creation and ongoing optimization of a Responsible AI (RAI) objective testing utility and control plane to govern the safe deployment of AI solutions. This position oversees significant stakeholder management, promoting best practices and enterprise-wide alignment on AI initiatives.

What you will do:

Platform Strategy & ArchitectureDefine the strategic roadmap for the enterprise’s Gen AI platform, ensuring alignment with business objectivesEvaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a state-of-the-art AI infrastructurePlatform Development & MaintenanceOversee the design, build, and maintenance of core Gen AI services and capabilities (RAI testing utility, control plane, etc.)Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance through robust monitoring and continuous improvementTechnical Leadership & Best PracticesEstablish standards and best practices for AI model development, deployment, and operations at scaleCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, Security) to embed controls and compliance measures into the platformStakeholder Engagement & CollaborationPartner with value streams and other business stakeholders to tailor platform features and capabilities to their needsManage vendor relationships, evaluating third-party tools and solutions for integrationOrganizational LeadershipLead and develop a diverse team of 20–30 AI engineers, data scientists, architects, and product managersChampion a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous learning within the organization

What you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field required OR equivalent experience12+ years of experience in technology leadership roles with a focus on AI, data engineering, or large-scale platformsExpert knowledge of AI/ML development pipelines, MLOps, and DevOps practicesProven success in leading AI platform initiatives, including architecture design and platform operationsExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Base Salary Range

$163,700.00 - $237,350.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
