Your tasks
Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and disciplinary oversight for Voith Hydro's global manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of site leaders to achieve operational targets, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Set clear goals and performance expectations for each site, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency and cost optimization. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Revitalize and embed a culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma and other best practices. Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste and improve operational efficiencies. Oversee the implementation of KPIs and metrics to monitor and enhance site performance, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products. Digital Transformation: Drive the digital transformation of manufacturing processes, utilizing Industry 4.0 technologies, automation and data analytics to enhance productivity and decision-making. Collaborate with IT and digital innovation teams to integrate digital tools and solutions across manufacturing operations. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital manufacturing and ensure Voith Hydro remains at the forefront of industry advancements. Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute global operational strategies and footprint that align with Voith Hydro's long-term vision and business goals. Work closely with senior leadership to identify strategic initiatives, including capacity adjustments, capital investments, and new technology deployments. Ensure compliance with global standards, regulatory requirements and safety protocols across all sites. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regional regulatory authorities. Act as a key point of contact for major projects and ensure seamless communication between manufacturing sites and global headquarters. Represent Voith Hydro in industry forums, conferences, and client engagements, advocating for the company's commitment to sustainable and reliable energy solutions.
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in global manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record in leading large, multi-site manufacturing operations, preferably within the renewable energy or heavy industry sectors. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong understanding of digital transformation, Industry 4.0, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Exceptional leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel internationally as required.
