Vice President - Investor Relations

**Position Summary**
The Vice President of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing and executing Caris’ investor relations program, which is a pivotal role in managing relationships with investors, analysts and shareholders. This leader will have a deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional communication skills and proven track record of building and maintaining strong investor relationships.
The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer, in collaboration with the Corporate Development and the Corporate Communications teams.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Work closely with the CEO, CFO, corporate development, legal team and other executive leaders to develop a robust investor relations strategy, framework and detailed plan, including thinking creatively and strategically about the company’s narratives and market positioning
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for, and lead proactive outreach to, investors, analysts and shareholders - providing timely and accurate information about the company's performance, strategy, financial outlook and growth prospects
+ Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective investors and analysts, conveying the company's vision, value proposition and performance
+ Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting, including earnings releases, SEC filings, investor presentations and annual report
+ Coordinate and manage quarterly earnings and conference calls, including script and earnings release development and messaging
+ Develop, organize and execute investor days, roadshows, and other investor / analyst conferences and presentations
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance best practices related to investor relations
+ Lead and support the preparation of investor materials, including earnings releases, presentations, SEC filings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and quarterly IR Board reports
+ Monitor and analyze market trends, shareholder feedback, competitor activities and industry regulatory developments to provide insights and recommendations to senior management and accurate information to investors
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, marketing, communications, and other departments to ensure accuracy, alignment and consistency in messaging and disclosures
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting
+ 15+ years of experience with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community preferably in life sciences
+ Strong understanding of SEC rules and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements
+ Good knowledge of accounting and US GAAP
+ Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry
+ Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
+ A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends
+ Must be well-organized and have the ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MBA/CFA or related degree
+ Prior experience in healthcare or life sciences
+ Prior experience in equity research, investment banking, or similar roles
**Physical Demands**

**Other**
+ This position is located in Irving, Texas and is an in-office role (vs remote).
+ This position requires periodic travel and some evenings and weekends.
