RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a senior analytical support partner for Bank of America’s Renewable Energy Finance team who are engaged in making a broad range of renewable energy focused investments including partnership investments, true leases, project debt, and other products.
Work closely with relationship managers to prepare and structure proposal for new investment opportunities.
Collaborate with legal and tax counsel to identify tax and commercial risks in investment opportunities and negotiate with clients to mitigate those risks for the bank.
Spearhead the due diligence process for renewable energy investments, review third party reports, actively participate in risk discussions with deal team and clients, coordinate with internal portfolio management and accounting teams to support deal closing and funding processes.
Support internal process improvement and efficiency by automating manual processes through tools including excel and VBA, standardizing internal process templates, and creating knowledge sharing platforms for various deal complexities and solutions knowledge across internal teams.
Demonstrate strong analytical and financial modeling skills including knowledge of advanced excel, VBA, asset valuation, risk modeling, scenario and sensitivity analyses, and ABC pricing tools.
Utilize technical expertise in partnership & lease tax issues and project finance concepts including tax equity financing structures and deal execution.
Apply subject matter knowledge of pricing, economic analysis, and structuring support on assigned new business and work on strategic analytic assignments and portfolio management projects.
Demonstrate high quality strategic thinking to negotiate terms with external and internal clients, to improve business profits, and to mitigate investment risks.
Provide support in identifying and working through structural, tax, and accounting issues, in sectors including renewable energy, wind and solar energy projects, and power and electricity markets.
Prepare high quality presentation and marketing materials for internal and external parties including document schedules and pricing exhibits.
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related; and
2 years of experience in the job offered or a related finance occupation.
Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
