Short Role Description
In your role as a Program/Project Manager within Markets Post Trade Transformation (MPTT), your primary objective is to facilitate the development and execution of solutions in-line with strategic outcomes. This involves a thorough evaluation of operational processes, proactive anticipation of requirements, effective delivery and the realization of target outcomes / business results.
Role Description
The successful candidate will join the Markets Post Trade Transformation (MPTT) team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the Derivatives and FX Post Trade business, working as part of the team responsible for the delivery of a multi-year program to re-platform and uplift global Derivatives and FX (DFX) Post Trade processing to achieve target efficiency, control and client service outcomes.
The role will include responsibility for the analysis, design, project management and implementation of ongoing product enhancements as well as strategic level deliverables across the DFX post-trade domain. It affords significant opportunity to collaborate with various Technology, Business, Operations and Transformation teams, driving forward ongoing product enhancements as well as strategic level deliverables.
The role is based in Buenos Aires but responsibilities will be global. Cross-regional partnership across Technology, Operations and the Business is vital.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be focused on the end-to-end management of all Transformation activities covering governance, planning, stakeholder management, prioritization, delivery management, as well as ensuring the definition, measurement and realization of priority OKRs / outcomes. This will include:
Partnering with key business, operations and technology teams in order to drive business delivery (local and global) Helping devise consistent Organizational and operating model designs Partnering with Operational Product Owners and Technology leads to effectively prioritize deliverables to ensure the timely realization of key business outcomes Communication of progress to senior stakeholders and the timely escalation of issues Adherence to key control/regulatory/audit standardsSkills/ Qualifications
Project management: prior experience of front-to-back change and structured project delivery; outcome-focused and able to deal with changing priorities and external factors. Practical knowledge and experience of Agile methodology and frameworks Analytical thinking Listening / questioning Excellent communicator: strong presentation (oral and written) and influencing skills; able to flex message and style based on audience (e.g. seniority) and setting (formal vs collaborative) Trusted partner: able to leverage subject matter expertise in driving solutions, and/or influencing decisions/direction with business, stakeholders and technology; ability to build effective business relationships required to leverage parts of the organization as required. Problem solving / issue resolution skills Ability to lead and work independently, operating effectively in a dynamic matrix environment with tight deadlines. Team player Skilled in Microsoft 365 Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience preferred Flexibility to work global hours and willing to travel if needed Experience in Markets Operations, FX or Derivatives Operations experience, preferred.About J.P.
