West coast - Southern California (LA, San Diego, Irvine) or Silicon Valley

Responsible to grow sales in the Telecom and Media segment by leveraging Client’s strength in Digital Transformation using SMAC technologies. Also responsible to build "sell with" partnerships and entry point strengths that help us sell in the Service Provider eco-system, including ISVs that are suppliers to them. Should have successfully sold Services (SI, s/w product engineering services, IT digital transformation services) into Media companies/Content aggregators, Telcos and Cable MSOs in North America. Will consider strong Sales, Biz Dev and Product Management candidates who have progressively built a line of business (top line and or bottom line responsibility) related to Media and/or Telecom.



Responsibilities include:-

- Lead Practice sales in specified segment/region.

- Work collaboratively with marketing to drive marketing campaigns in their segment - comfortable with speaking - engagements, webinars etc.

- Create and work a sales funnel based on prospects from marketing campaigns, trade shows and events etc. and to keep it updated in CRM system.

- Drive pitch development, proposal writing (RFX responses), work with legal for closing agreement Ts and Cs, and with management team for pricing negotiations to close business.

- Understand the demo needs get them created by the internal demo team - Deliver those demos to prospects in pursuit of business.
Desired Skills and Experience

Services background must.

- Strong in Technology sales for one or more of - 

OTT Multi-screen Video, Digital Print and Music
OTT VoIP and Messaging
BI/Analytics for the Service Provider
Internet of Things solutions
Advanced Advertising 

- Familiarity with basic concepts of modern software development methodologies (Agile, waterfall, MVP, UX etc).

- Accountability to sales numbers, CSAT metrics. Ownership of some key accounts in addition to hunting for new business.

- Team player - ability to work collaboratively within the sales team and the practice to deliver results

- Strong project and program management and multi-tasking capabilities for account management of multiple accounts
