Vice President of Corporate Development, Private Equity

CSC Generation’s platform is purpose built around its core M&A strategy and drives alpha by encoding revenue growth, unit margin management and other expert level retail practices into automation and AI Inthe last few years, we’ve acquired brands including: Backcountry, Sur La Table, Direct Buy, and One Kings Lane  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Corporate Development, Private Equity to drive the company's growth strategy through strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other corporate development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that align with CSC Generation's long-term objectives. This position will report directly to the CEO.What you get to do every day:Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine CSC Generation's corporate development strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target prioritization, operational and financial due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance CSC Generation's competitive position, drive revenue growth, and expand market reach.Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential investment opportunities within the retail and consumer sectors.Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment thesis development to evaluate potential M&A targets and partnership opportunities.Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, investors, and potential partners.Collaborate with operational teams to develop and execute post-merger integration plans, ensuring seamless transition and realization of synergies.Identify and assess risks associated with potential transactions, and develop mitigation strategies to protect CSC Generation's interests.Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.What you bring to the role:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in restructuring investment banking, private equity, or turnaround consulting, with a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships.Deep understanding of the retail and consumer industries, with experience evaluating market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.What's in it for you?PTO for salaried employees Medical/Dental/Vision and a variety of supplemental policies availableCompany 401K matchCompany Health Spending Account (HSA) matchCompany provides group life insurance at no cost COBRA reimbursement for salaried employees until health insurance eligible Paid Holidays Birthday off with pay!Pet InsuranceGenerous employee discountsWhat our interview process looks like:Depending on the position, our application and interview process may vary, but here are some of the ways we get to know you better:
