The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture and Platform Engineering will be responsible for leading the enterprise architecture strategy, architecture team, and software engineering teams. This role is crucial in aligning the technology vision with the business strategy, focusing on creating a reusable business logic and data services platform that enhances company innovation, flexibility, and speed.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop a comprehensive enterprise architecture strategy that aligns with the company's business goals, focusing on innovation and optimization of staffing capabilities.Strategic Alignment: Strategic understanding and alignment of the benefits of service-oriented architecture.Development and Maintenance: Oversee the creation and maintenance of reusable business logic and data services, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability.Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to understand their needs and integrate feedback into core services.Best Practices: Drive the adoption of best practices for service-oriented or microservices architecture.Team Management: Lead multiple teams of engineers focused on platform and core services development.Architecture Design and Implementation: Lead the design and execution of enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring they support the scalability and flexibility of our staffing capabilities. Technology Leadership: Partner with divisional technology peers to drive the introduction and adoption of new technologies and architectural standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological excellence.Market Research: Incorporate market and competitive research to bring innovative ideas that differentiate CHG from our competition and generally within the industry.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with divisions within the Digital Marketing Organization (including Product Management, Marketing, and IT Services) and key business divisions to ensure the enterprise architecture supports all aspects of the business effectively.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven Leadership: Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior enterprise architecture and/or software engineering role.Leadership and Management: Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing high-performing technology teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate professionals at all levels within the organization.Strategic Planning and Execution: Extensive experience in strategic planning, enterprise architecture development, and execution, with a strong ability to translate business needs into technological solutions that drive efficiency and growth.Technology Expertise: Deep knowledge of a broad range of technologies, including cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies like AI, with a proven ability to leverage technology to solve business problems.Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, technology staff, vendors, and stakeholders.Innovation and Continuous Improvement: A track record of fostering innovation and driving continuous improvement within IT operations, staying ahead of industry trends and incorporating best practices into the enterprise architecture.We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $290,000-- $310,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
