Vice President of Global Medical Operations

The VP, Global Medical Operations will lead the strategic development and ongoing success of pathology, radiology, and consultation services through associate engagement, innovation, and financial growth. This role is responsible for executing the business strategy across North America and EU/International markets while partnering with QA and Operations to ensure alignment, client satisfaction, and seamless implementation of service enhancements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Lead strategic planning and integration across pathology, radiology, and consultation teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and promoting best practices globally.

Team and Leadership Development:Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of veterinarians and operations professionals. Foster professional growth, engagement, and a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and providing development opportunities that build leadership capabilities and drive operational excellence.

Financial Oversight:Manage the global P&L for medical operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance to ensure sustainability and profitability. Drive the achievement of financial targets across all markets through strategic planning and efficiency.

Operational Excellence:Collaborate with the Operations Leadership team to implement best practices, streamline processes, and drive efficiency in service delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to drive aligned initiatives, technological advancements, and strategic outcomes, such as digital pathology implementation.

Client and Industry Engagement:Represent the organization at industry conferences, professional meetings, and other forums to build relationships, promote services, and drive business growth.Innovation and Continuous Improvement:Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new methodologies, tools, and technologies that enhance operational capabilities and service quality.

Workforce Planning and Talent Retention:Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to ensure the medical operations teams are optimally staffed and engaged, focusing on talent retention and succession planning to drive long-term success.

Ethical and Cultural Stewardship:Champion a culture of integrity and collegiality within medical operations, ensuring alignment with organizational values and fostering a collaborative global team environment.

Other Duties as Assigned:Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational goals and uphold the company’s commitment to integrity and excellence.

Education and Experience:Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalentBoard Certification(s) is preferred15+ years’ relevant leadership experience, with a mix of Veterinary medical expertise, operations, P&L oversight, strong business acumen, and leadership experienceStrong ability to communicate and work collaboratively in a matrix organization

Travel:
This position will have up to 50% notable travel.

This is a Hybrid role based that can be based out of our Corporate hub in New York City, NY. The Target Pay Range for this position is $299,400 - $374,200 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
