Position Summary: Seeking a dynamic Vice President of Global Sales to join the Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is crucial for driving our global sales strategy, championing business development, and fostering key client relationships. You will oversee a team of 4-5 sales professionals, manage €35M+ in annual revenue, and play a strategic role in shaping the company’s long-term vision for growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a team to achieve ambitious sales and gross profit targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Inspire and develop team members to meet high-performance standards and foster career growth.Revenue & Profit Management: Take full ownership of external sales and global gross profit, managing a diverse portfolio of over €35M in revenue and 100+ key client accounts. Focus on improving margins while defending core business.Global Expansion: Strategically expand our presence in key markets across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities to enhance the company’s international footprint.Key Account Management: Oversee strategic customer relationships, negotiating long-term agreements, ensuring client satisfaction, and increasing the depth of our client portfolio through exceptional service and tailored solutions.Business Strategy & Vision: Collaborate closely with executives and directors to set priorities, align sales objectives with broader business goals, and contribute to the strategic direction of the company.Product Promotion & Marketing: Partner with marketing teams to create and execute impactful product promotion initiatives. Lead and coordinate company presence at industry events, develop product brochures, and manage global digital communication strategies.Team Development & Training: Actively support and guide team members, focusing on the professional growth and development of emerging talent within the sales department. Lead monthly and global sales meetings to maintain focus and alignment.Marketing Collaboration:Plan and lead the execution of major trade shows in Fragrance and Flavors, strengthening brand visibility.Oversee the design and development of product flyers, brochures, and digital communication materials.Establish partnerships with external experts, such as perfumers and flavorists, to enhance promotional activities for our ingredients and products.Ideal Candidate Skills & Qualifications:Strategic Vision & Market Insight: Proven strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of global sales and business development.
