Job Description

Leadership Responsibilities

Leads the day-to-day operations, activity, & development of the field-based divisional leadersCollaborates with Head of Company Restaurants, VP of FP&A, Operations leadership at various business unit levels and other functions across the company to drive results each dayProvides leadership direction through positive management and guidance; spends time in restaurants, actively participates in daily discussions on restaurant performance, execution of marketing philosophies and the development of restaurant marketing plansWorks collaboratively with business unit leadership to develop & implement robust marketing plans that include specific marketing objectives (Sales, Customers, ROI & Brand Loyalty goals)Ensures alignment to ROI methodologies and consistent execution and follow up to monitor effectivenessEnforces Raising Cane’s brand standardsEnsures the development and implementation of our Active Community Involvement (ACI) strategyCollaborates with recruiting to source, select and hire high caliber team to support the company’s growthResponsible for overseeing, developing, and mentoring Restaurant Marketing Crewmembers by assessing performance objectively and providing clear and direct feedback 

Restaurant Marketing Function

Develops and maintains a detailed marketing budget that outlines all costs affecting the restaurant level marketing spend; responsible for managing period financial resultsEnsures the marketing team has necessary tools and systems in place to support the restaurants which include marketing plans, media, and sponsorshipsCollaborates with the Director of Media Planning to develop and execute plans that build awareness, drive traffic and address individual market dynamicsCollaborates with RSO Marketing team to implement system campaigns and programs & leverage customer insights to develop effective local store marketing plansIdentifies opportunities to drive traffic and build brand awareness through grass roots marketing effortsEnsures Raising Cane’s philosophy is brought to life by supporting the communities through local marketing events, tools and partnershipsBudget and invoice reconciliationPrepares and shares weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis on sales, traffic and other relevant dataCollaborates with Business Unit Leaders and FP&A to inform company business unit sales and traffic forecast

Company Restaurant Marketing Strategy and Planning

Identifies and evaluates sponsorship opportunities, including managing budgets and executionPartners with Director of Media Planning to ensure the correct strategy is deployed in each DMA, responsible for ensuring the Restaurant Marketing team is engaged in the detailed plans by proactively communicating with Restaurants, following up on execution results and provides market insights to plansPartners with the Customer Communications team to manage incidents and promote activityPartners with the Creative Services team to ensure brand standards are trained and reinforcedLeads the development and execution of marketing plans to support new restaurant openingsQualifications 15+ years field marketing management experience in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environmentExperience leading a large field based team consisting of remote multi-tiered marketing teamsKnowledge and experience working with media and sponsorshipsDetail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelyMicrosoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and WordStrong financial acumenBased in Plano, TX (Dallas Restaurant Support Office) and ability to travel 30-40% of the timeBachelor’s DegreeAdditional Information
