Under the direction of the EVP, Pharmacy Operations, the VP of Pharmacy Fulfillment Operations is responsible to provide leadership to business units to ensure the achievement of strategic goals. Knowledge and execution of high-volume fulfillment operation with attention to quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Management and oversight of pharmacy staff including Pharmacy Managers, Supervisors, and staff level employees. Ability to work collaboratively with other business units.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPNSIBILITIES:
Strategic LeadershipDevelop & execute comprehensive strategy to maximize efficiency and scalability.Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations. Operational ExcellenceOversee day to day operation of fulfillment operation and inventory managementCompliance to state and federal pharmacy regulationsCollaboration with leadership across internal and external business partners Setting performance metrics and targets including productivity, accuracy, and expense controlTeam Leadership & DevelopmentBuild, mentor and develop high-performing team Works with leadership to provide career growth and succession planningFinancial ManagementManage departmental budget to meet financial goals including revenue, profit, and expense control.Analyze operational data to identify and recommend cost-savings opportunities. Innovation & TechnologyIdentifying and implementing new technologies and automation to streamline fulfillment processes. Utilize business trend and pipeline to plan for future growth.Collaboration & Stakeholder engagementPartner with other departments, business units, and vendors to exceed client and patient expectations. Collaboration with compliance, regulatory, and clinical teams to ensure proper fulfillment of prescription medication

QualificationsMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA, PharmD, or similar preferred).10+ years of progressive leadership experience supporting operational functions within cGMP fulfillment facility.Proven track record of scaling fulfillment operations utilizing both personnel, automation and technology. Indiana licensed Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician or the ability to obtain tech in training license.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
MBA, PharmD or similar education preferred10+ years experience in fulfillment operations or manufacturingKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent leadership and management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office productsAbility to accept changing workflows and unexpected demands requiring flexibilityAbility to work under pressure and appropriately prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to develop collaborative working relationshipsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to travel out of state 50% of the yearLocation of job activities 100% insideNoise and/or vibrations exposureReaching (overhead), handling, and feelingStand and sit for prolonged periods of timeLift, carry, and move up to 50 poundsThis position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients.
