Vice President Procurement Excellence (Evergreen)

Join our Rolls-Royce Business as VP – Procurement Excellence. In this role you will be responsible for leading the Procurement Excellence team, including the Procurement Systems & Data team, with the aim of delivering class-leading, digitally enabled ways of working across all source to contract activity, governance and decision-making. The role will lead a team who will look to consistently develop innovative solutions to drive efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, financial savings and supplier performance through the way we operate, enabling delivery of all key targets across the 5Y. You will be a key leader and influencer of change across the Procurement function and wider business as a whole. In this role, you will travel both domestically and internationally up to 10%

Key Accountabilities:
Setting the framework and standards for Procurement strategy, negotiations, contracting and supplier management for the GroupBenchmarking functional performance and capability against ‘world class’ standards to drive continuous improvementOwning the systems, data and digital strategy and delivery for the Procurement function, leveraging the relevant technology to deliver actionable insights to the rest of the functionEnsuring all standards are consistently deployed into each division and governance is routinely and rigorously followedDefining, developing and where appropriate delivering a robust functional capability framework and associated training & learning offeringsDeveloping and managing the Procurement Capability and Talent PipelineOwnership of internal and external functional communications and engagementDrive Compliance to Operating model and standardsBasic Requirements:
Associate degree with 10+ years of procurement experience, ORBachelor’s degree with 8+ years of procurement experience, ORMaster’s degree with 6+ years of procurement experience, ORJD/PhD with 3+ years of procurement experience, OR12+ years of procurement experience in lieu of a degreeIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent ResidentPreferred Requirements:

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
