The Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base.
Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include cyber consulting, financial crime, and data-driven information and risk management services. Client verticals include, but not limited to, Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce and Digital Partners, Governments, and healthcare.
Role
We are seeking a senior leader for the role of Vice President of Security Solutions Advisory & Consulting Services to lead the design, enhancement, and rollout of consulting solutions that are directly linked or complimentary to our technical solutions in cybersecurity as well as payment security. In this key leadership role, the candidate will:
· Set the Vision: Define a compelling vision for our payment security advisory offerings with a focus on cybersecurity that aligns with market needs, organizational goals, and industry trends.
· Develop the Strategy: Create and implement the strategic roadmap that delivers innovative, high-value solutions to clients while ensuring scalability, operational efficiency and that leverages the existing Mastercard Security Solutions assets.
· Lead a Global Team: Directly and indirectly manage a diverse, cross-functional team of subject matter experts in the domains of cybersecurity, transaction authorization, fraud prevention and chargeback operations. A leader in this role will foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence across regions.
· Drive Results: Oversee the end-to-end consulting lifecycle, ensuring services meet client expectations, adhere to regional regulatory and compliance requirements, and achieve financial targets.
· Engage Stakeholders : Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, marketing, delivery, and security product and technical teams to align priorities and communicate value propositions effectively.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
· Demonstrable experience in launching and building nascent security, cyber and/or risk consulting businesses into robust practices.
· Proven experience in product management or leadership roles within security consulting services – prior experience in similar team desirable but not mandatory.
· Strong knowledge of enterprise and payment cybersecurity frameworks, trends, and best practices.
· Experience in strategy consulting for clients in the financial services industry; expertise in the domains of payment transaction processing is a plus
· Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a global perspective.
· Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Willingness to work across silos and experience in leading by influence.
Candidate should have relevant academic credentials and industry certifications to support their experience.

New York Salary Band- $208,000-$333,000

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
