What are we looking for?
State Street Alpha Service product team is seeking a versatile individual in a Vice President role with strong product development, product life cycle management, client relationship, and business analysis skills for the development and support of services and product offerings within the Account /portfolio onboarding data and life cycle management area. This qualified individual will develop and deliver products, business solutions, and strategies aligned with our Alpha Account onboarding and data integrations with downstream consumers. Account Service product family involves 1) New account /portfolio onboarding 2) Managing portfolio life cycle events and 3) Static data maintenance. This role will focus on driving front, middle, and back-office service innovations that support and streamline end-to-end integration, servicing, and interoperability for our Alpha clients.

They will also be driving the strategic solution design, business architecture, and business solutions/services while driving program/project execution and reporting.
What you will be responsible for?
Product Management and delivery:
Serve as the Product Owner in Agile Rooms, collaborating with development teams, Scrum Masters, and key stakeholders to drive product delivery within the reference data product space, particularly in the asset management or servicing industry. Define and prioritize the product backlog, translating business vision into actionable user stories with clear, measurable acceptance criteria. Own the development of client portfolio and entity data sets, leveraging configurable workflow tools to drive seamless execution, ensuring automated, efficient interactions across systems and processes. Balance technical debt, emerging demands, and client requests, optimizing delivery while safeguarding product quality and integrity. Facilitate smooth API integration and leverage JSON messaging structures to ensure seamless data exchange from and to the client. Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that product features meet business requirements and ensure successful releases.Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with product goals.Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, engaging with stakeholders to validate needs. Architect product solutions based on consistent design principles.Collaboration and Leadership:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, client success, sales, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to product delivery. Represent the product team in executive-level discussions, aligning product strategies with State Street Alpha’s broader strategic goals, while offering insights on the overall product portfolio. Align the product roadmap with business strategy, market demand, and the competitive landscape to drive measurable impact.Design and implement client-facing products, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Support special initiatives, including market product research and strategic projects, contributing to long-term product growth. Demonstrate the ability to lead teams without direct management authority, influencing outcomes through collaboration and vision.What we value?
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
Reference Data product experience with portfolio, entity and other reference data using workflow tools, configuration, business rules for event driven processes.Possess strong knowledge of front-to-back Investment management/Investment services processes and various asset classes.Creation of business process flows and defining the business problem, solution design using various tools such as Visio, ARIS etc.- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills for diverse and senior audiences.
Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes.Product Owner role experience using Agile Methodologies.Ability to analyze entity-relationship diagrams and logical data models to validate design against requirements.Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
- 15+ years of experience in Asset management or Asset servicing organization.
Work experience in fintech product management, business operations or technology area.- Ability to Analyze and query large data sets

Salary Range:
$130,000 - $212,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
