Job Overview
Salary Range: $220 - $260K + commission
This role is remote with up to 50% travel Nationwide
Position Summary
The Vice President of Strategic Account Management will be a key leader responsible for managing a team of Strategic Account Managers responsible for growing a portfolio of our most high-value, strategic clients. This individual will work closely with the strategic accounts managers they lead and operational leaders to define and execute strategies that foster customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion. The VP will oversee a team of strategic account managers, ensure alignment with company goals, and drive initiatives to maximize the lifetime value of strategic accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the Business & Industry (B&I) Strategic Account Management team, providing mentorship, direction, and support to ensure high performance.Develop and implement strategies to drive long-term client success, revenue growth, and relationship expansion across a defined set of strategic accounts.Oversee and guide team to develop and execute regularly updated annual account plans that ensure that proper client relationships are in place that deliver on growth plans, meet contract commitments, and gain off-market renewalsDrive growth pipeline and management for client portfolio in CRM (Salesforce), regularly holding pipeline reviews with team and leading strategies and coaching team to achieve quarterly and annual new sales targetsOversee client renewal and RFP process for portfolio, ensuring compliance with proactive renewal process activities Collaborate with the operational and sales leadership teams to align account management strategies with overall company objectives, revenue targets, and growth plans.Review and analyze the weekly Executive reports generated by the Customer Support team, address and, or, support, any major concerns or issues in the trends for the B&I segmentProactively assess, clarify, and validate B&I segment customer needs and related performance data on an ongoing basis, and communicate trends, opportunities and progressDemonstrate by example and guide team in customer engagement and retention activities and best practices to limit churn and promote extensions and renewals of customer business.Support the operations team as well as the customer support team in finding new vendors in areas or markets that struggle with vendor coverage. Oversee the scheduling of customer project work as needed
