The Vice President of Total Rewards is a senior leadership position within an organization responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the compensation and benefits programs for employees. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies to attract, motivate, and retain top talent by providing competitive and comprehensive total rewards packages.

Responsibilities of the role:

Strategy Development: Develop and execute a total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business goals and objectives. This includes designing and implementing compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain employees globally across multiple sites.Compensation Planning: Oversee the development and implementation of the organization's compensation programs, including base salary structures, annual merit increase processes, variable pay plans, and executive compensation packages. Ensure that compensation programs are fair, competitive, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations in multiple countries.Benefits Administration: Manage the organization's global employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits. Evaluate and select benefit providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor the effectiveness of benefits offerings across multiple locations.Job Evaluation and Classification: Lead the development and maintenance of global job evaluation and classification systems to ensure equitable and consistent job levels, salary grades, and compensation bands across different countries and cultures. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and internal equity on a global scale.Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends related to compensation and benefits in multiple countries. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Pay Act, and other country-specific legislation.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics and reporting tools, including Workday, to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs globally. Analyze market trends, employee feedback, and performance metrics to make data-driven recommendations for program enhancements or modifications in various regions.Communication and Education: Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to educate employees globally on the organization's total rewards programs. Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams in communicating compensation and benefits-related information across diverse cultures and locations.Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors, such as benefits providers, compensation consultants, and technology vendors, on a global scale. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure service levels meet the organization's expectations across different countries and regions.Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of compensation and benefits professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment that can effectively operate in a global and multi-national context.
