Vice President - UAT Insourcing Strategy (Wealth Management)

The Wealth Management Platforms organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.


Position Summary
The Wealth Management Platforms User Acceptance Testing Lead will be responsible for a variety of user acceptance testing functions in a leadership capacity that supports our Fleets across our different Platforms Areas. These Platform Areas drive the completion of senior leadership's vision of platforms used by our financial advisors, branch managers, support professionals and clients. The UAT Lead is accountable for coordinating all aspects of testing, planning and deployment, and driving status reporting for senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- UAT Testing Team Management
- Have knowledge on platforms, applications, and peripheral systems, and train new resources to become subject matter experts in their areas
- Work effectively across different groups and prioritize decision-making
- Identify dependencies and keep applicable stakeholders informed
- Analyze team effectiveness using various visualization tools and capabilities ensuring the effectiveness of UAT testing and adherence to Agile/Scrum principles
- Fleet Planning and Testing Engagement
- Participate in fleet ceremonies, having a deep understanding of fleet strategy, objectives, and outcomes
- Partner with Fleet Leadership to ensure appropriate UAT coverage
- Liaise with Technology QA Testing Team to ensure efficient QA and UAT testing coverage
- Act as a local support for escalations; identify risks, issues, and mitigators
- Identify and drive process improvements, enhancements, and efficiencies
- Work with Product Owners and Fleet Leads to determine appropriate UAT resource alignment to Agile Squads
- Assist in the creation and oversight of UAT test plans, end to end test planning, and production checkout
- Status Reporting
- Develop and execute recurring, comprehensive communications (e.g., presentations) for management and key decision makers (i.e.Provide weekly testing status reports)

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, technology or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience required
- Minimum 8-10 years of relevant QA/UAT experience with 5 years of people management experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial services / program management
- Partnering with various internal groups and stakeholders across different regions

- Work independently and with a team, possessing strong sense of accountability and relationship building
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Agile methodologies, delivery practices and reporting

- Experience in tools/techniques/processes such as Selenium, RestAssured, Gradle, Junit, GIT Stash, Agile, BDD, Jira, ALM, TeamCity, and traditional SDLC
- Execution of automation dealing with various automation tools and techniques
