Key Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Network Development: Formulate and execute strategies for network expansion, focusing on identifying new market opportunities and establishing relationships with healthcare providers to enhance the overall network.
+ Network Management: Oversee the network's performance to ensure alignment with the plan's strategic goals. Ensure network access, adequacy, and quality meet both regulatory standards and the organization's internal objectives .
+ Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with healthcare providers to establish favorable contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality care and access for members.
+ Performance Monitoring: Implement systems to monitor and evaluate network performance metrics, ensuring the network is continuously optimized for quality, access, and member satisfaction.
+ Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure network compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining high standards of quality in the network's operations.
+ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and collaborate with a team of network professionals, ensuring goals are achieved efficiently and fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration , Healthcare Administration, or a related field; MBA or MHA preferred.
+ Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in managed care network development and provider relations/contracting management, with a demonstrated ability to manage and grow teams.
+ Skills:
+ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
+ Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and monitoring network performance.
+ In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
+ Ability to think strategically and drive operational improvements.
