Job Title Video Coordinator Agency Texas A&M University Department Dean of Education Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description What we want The Video Coordinator, under the direction of the Director and Creative Manager, works with members of the communications team to coordinate and develop all general video and photography production. This includes but is not limited to college promotional campaigns, student highlights, podcasts, social media posts, capturing events and developing visual feature articles as they relate to marketing. Provides video and photography expertise as part of the college communications team, networks with colleagues across the university and represents the college on university committees. If you meet the qualifications stated below and this job description sounds appealing, we invite you to apply to be considered for this great opportunity. ​ ​Responsibilities Video and Photography: + Performs expert-level video and photography work + Provides strategic direction and oversight of the videos and marketing photos taken for the college + Completes multiple videos per month and provides photography services as required + Researches and implements best practices for video and stays current with trends as they relate to higher education + Trains and mentors other video staff members Project Coordination: + Provides creative art direction, brand oversight and strategic management of various video and photography as they relate to communication campaigns + Works closely with various vendors and other communications staff to ensure timeliness and quality of final products + Maintains a logical and accessible library of all digital assets to be used as needed in all projects Managing Studio: + Ensures the studio remains functional and all equipment is kept up-to-date and operational to be used at any time + Develops ways to make studio multi-functional to make it versatile in its use Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Experience with video production/photography from conception to completion + Knowledge of maintaining video/photography equipment What you need to know Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience Cover Letter/Resume: A cover letter and resume will assist us in our review of your application materials Required Education: + Bachelor’s degree in applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience + Three years creating videos and photography for marketing or similar field Preferred Qualifications: + Over five years of related experience in video and photography services + One year of supervisory experience Who we are The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) is committed to enhancing educational achievement and health outcomes, fostering innovation & development, and influencing policy & practice in the fields of education, health, sport, business, and government.
