About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aesthetic sense, excellent project management skills, and a passion for storytelling. You will transform raw footage into polished, engaging video content while balancing design, client communication, and creative consultation. Collaborating closely with our creative team, you will produce videos that align with our brand goals. You should be comfortable working on a variety of projects, from quick-cutting, graphics-driven short and mid-form episodic content to socially-focused videos. As a liaison between the Brand team and other departments, you will play a crucial role in establishing and enhancing our brand identity and market presence.
What you will do:
Create highly engaging videos using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.Create video elements using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere ProCreate rough and final cuts, including video editing, trimming footage segments, assembling sequences, and selecting/editing music, dialogues, and VO recordings.Ensure all edits, splices, changes, and additions appear seamless and natural to enhance story flow.Provide basic to advanced video motion graphic design support on video projects, including typography treatments and motion graphics design and development.Accurately proof all your work with exceptional attention to detail, with a sensitivity to messagingand branding.Digitize and encode video from and to a variety of devices and codecs.Provide post-production knowledge of exporting, transcoding, converting, and archiving footage.Participate in stakeholder discussions about format, delivery specifications, creative approaches,
and technical problem-solving.Manage multiple projects by effectively balancing planned and unforeseen requirements, coordinating competing priorities, and aligning timelines, scope, standards, and expectations.Provide video production support for a range of multimedia requests, as needed, by shooting in-person or remote videos and/or podcastsSet up in-person and remote recording sessions, ensuring high-quality sound capture.Collaborate with producers, directors, and talent to plan and execute recording sessions, addressing technical requirements and creative goals.Provide technical support and guidance to remote participants, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and knowledge for high-quality audio recording.Stay updated on the latest audio technologies and best practices to continually improve recording processes and outcomes.Participate in creative sessions, team meetings by brainstorming, providing creative input, suggesting innovative concepts, and making creative recommendations.Work collaboratively with other talented designers, copywriters, Art directors, and brand managers.
What you will need:
Educational skills:
3 - 5 years Video Production and Editing experienceBA in video production, graphic arts or related degree preferred.Strong Portfolio showcasing visual design and conceptual thinkingQualifications:
Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, and Adobe After Effects.Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator CC and Adobe Photoshop CCExperience in motion graphics design and typography treatments.Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and sound design.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof work accurately.Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of work.Knowledge of video codecs, encoding, and transcoding processes.Understanding of brand standards and messaging sensitivity.#LI-LB1Who are we?
