Overview As a Video Producer within the Art Department at Arthur J. Gallagher, you will play a pivotal role in producing and directing global video content that aligns with our brand's vision and objectives. Reporting to the Global Creative Director, you will lead a dynamic team of motion designers and videographers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality video projects that effectively communicate our message to a global audience. Your expertise in video production, combined with your leadership skills, will be critical in elevating the standards of the video production process from concept to completion. How you'll make an impact Pre-production: Collaborate with Art Directors and Copywriters to establish the creative direction for video projects, developing storyboards and scripts that align with Gallagher's brand and objectives. Resolve appropriate level of production value and work closely with motion designers and videographers to bring high-quality video projects to life. Direct various production aspects, including location scouting, music selection, voiceover casting, visual effects, and graphics, in collaboration with the lead art director and creative director. Coordinate with the account management team as they handle production schedules, ensuring timely delivery from pre-production through post-production. Work closely with the studio production manager as they handle scheduling for our on-campus recording studio, booking on-campus recording spaces, and communicating schedules and locations to all parties involved. Assign appropriate team members and ensure all are unified in delivering the creative vision. On-set: Plan and direct videographers' camera work, set layout, lighting, and sound to ensure high-quality footage capture. Direct on-camera talent, ensuring appropriate footage is gathered and setting expectations for all on-set stakeholders and visitors. Post-production: Collaborate with the lead art director and account manager throughout all phases of a video project to obtain client input, solve problems, and keep projects on schedule. Recommend appropriate resources for task assignment based on a deep knowledge of available skills and project requirements. Ensure brand review and alignment during all phases of production. Ideate ways to use templating and available technologies to enhance production quality and efficiency. About You Required: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 8 years experience with a focus on building national/international brands and business based on customer and market insights. Track record of building, growing, and sustaining strong brands within insurance, financial services, or professional services industry. Familiarity with a range of online and offline internal/external brand marketing tools and technologies. Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field. Experience as a Video Producer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of video projects. Extensive knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, on-set direction, and post-production. Strong leadership skills with experience leading and mentoring a team of creatives, including motion designers and videographers. Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools. Behaviors: A keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Art Directors, Copywriters, and Account Managers. Creative problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness in overcoming production challenges and making the most of available resources. Ability to create a comfortable environment for on-camera talent to perform at their best. Demonstrate a can-do attitude and the ability to work efficiently with limited resources.
