Video Producer - In-House As The Hartford’s in-house creative agency, we’re producing a ton of great work for a range of clients. And we’re being asked to do even more, especially when it comes to video. That’s where an experienced video producer comes in. We're looking for a uniquely talented and highly organized individual with the proven experience and skills to oversee multiple video projects at the same time. One with a command of what it takes to produce videos of all shapes sizes including animated shorts, talking head and interview style, and long-form videos. As the producer, you’ll partner with members of our creative, video production, traffic and account service teams to ensure we’re delivering great video work on time, on strategy and on budget. Responsibilities: + Effectively plan and manage multiple video productions that range in size, scope and allocated time/budget + Collaborate and problem-solve with Creative, Traffic and Account Service teams + Build and manage effective and efficient production schedules + Partner when needed, with external production companies to estimate, schedule and produce videos + Ensure that video productions are completed on time and on budget + Apply creativity and knowledge of current video trends to help support even stronger work + Always be ready to pitch in and lend a hand when needed Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in TV/Film Production, Communications, or similar preferred + Minimum of 7-10 years of experience managing video productions + Strong knowledge of video production tools, technology, software and techniques + Skilled in video production time and resource estimation and management + Current on the latest video output formats, platforms and distribution channels + Ability to manage multiple video projects at the same time + Strong creative eye and the ability to provide feedback that helps strengthen the final output + Podcast production experience a plus + Experience working with external/contracted video production vendors is important + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills + Highly collaborative with the ability to effectively work with different teams + Solid understanding of external video resources related to stock footage, music and talent + A video reel the demonstrates your skills as an accomplished video producer Location: + This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in the Hartford, CT office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $87,600 - $131,400 The posted salary range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
