The Job in a Nutshell:

Natural Grocers is looking for an exceptional Video Production Project Manager to join our in-house video team and be a member of our new educational and social video content division. Every day you'll be using your exceptional planning, foresight, and video editing skills to create high-quality educational content for the Natural Grocers community. You are an organized person who enjoys cataloging multimedia and working on video projects with multiple departments. You're willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done with a collaborative, creative spirit. Takes feedback well. You enjoy filming with the phone for social media as much as you do filming with a camera. This position is fully on-site and requires 100% of the time be spent working from the SSC Golden office.

Responsibilities

Main Ingredients:

Pre-production, Scheduling, Planning, Tracking Deadlines, and Strategy: Work with Department Management, the Natural Grocers Marketing Department, and Operations to gather resources, create a production schedule and handle logistics for shoots. Manage all deliverables from pre-production to post-production. Familiar with creating preproduction documents and intake meetings.Video Production: Perform on-set videography (sometimes with a cell phone other times a DSLR), sound, and collaborate with Good4U Crew members. In-house and some travel work may be required. Comfortability traveling and shooting on farms with dust and animals. Comfortability carrying film equipment.Post Production: Video Editing, Motion graphic work required, Organization, Color Correction, Lumetri or Davinci skills, Edit your videos quickly and efficiently, delivering projects on time while maintaining high quality. Maintain our digital asset management system and assist in the final delivery of video and marketing materials. Motion graphic work required. Multimedia organization, including backing up, cataloging files and documents for the department.Any additional tasks assigned by Department or Company leadership.

 

 Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.

Qualifications

Recipe for Success:

 

Minimum 3 years’ experience in video editing within a professional team environment.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Davinci Resolve and After Effects.Experience with filmmaking, lighting, sound recording, and small team/solo video production, color correction, and audio sweetening.Experience with DAM’s and multimedia organization, assist editorial workExperience coordinating and executing successful video content.A speedy and dedicated editor with creative skills and passion for organization.A natural relationship builder, savvy problem solver, and life-long learner who can convey concepts and stories in compelling and creative ways.Loves to own projects and are a strong collaborator who can juggle multiple deliverables with aggressive deadlines.
