Video Technician/VTC Hub Admin
*Location - Onsite, Camp Humphreys - South Korea* Responsible for, the build, support, administration, and optimization of the network and associated systems software and hardware. Designs, deploys, and troubleshoots small-scale network deployments. Conducts routine tests to ensure operability and security of the network. Authorizes access to the active directory. Identifies network needs and capabilities from an end-user perspective. Troubleshoots intermediary network problems and escalates large-scale network issues appropriately. + Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves intermediary telcomm network communication problems for end users. + Ensures stable operation of the network and responds to outages. + Collects system specifications. + Monitors network to maintain integrity and security. + Analyzes network communication trouble conditions, and maintains documentation. + Monitors network performance and performs intermediary network restoration/recovery actions. + Responsible for operations, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunications such as voice, video, and data transport and associated hardware. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent relevant experience. + CompTIA Network+ and/or CCENT certification preferred. + 2-5 years of experience in network administration. + Secret Clearance **Other Job Specific Skills** + Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Allied Voice over Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP), video teleconferencing (VTC), and video streaming capabilities (including, but not limited to Netcast of VTC / Cable TV, GBS)., TCP/IP protocols and network technologies. + Understanding of network infrastructure technologies. + Knowledge of network cabling and standard optic types. + Knowledge of industry router configurations and switch configurations. + Knowledge of Network Firewalls, Proxys, Wireless and Load Balancers. + Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills. + Knowledge of Active Directory overall and its administrative components. + Excellent oral and written communications skills are required as well as strong organizational skills with attention to detail. + Knowledge of computing systems hardware with the ability to provide break/fix support for desktop PC and/or servers. + Understanding of telecommunications voice and data networks. **Compensation Ranges** Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
