A Videographer will have a primary focus on producing and providing consultation on various audio and video projects which may include, but are not limited to: shooting footage, taking photographs, creating and/or editing informational videos, employee spotlights, podcasts, presentations, and training videos. Our Videographer also oversee video content management and archive efforts in this role.

**This is a part-time position with 4 days/30 hours a week

HOW A VIDEOGRAPHER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Excellent visual stylistic sense (balance, tone, placement) with an understanding of videographyprinciplesAbility to translate complex information into concise, engaging videosAbility to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment; must be able to manage several projects simultaneously from concept through completionDetail oriented with good communication and customer service skillsInterviewing and videotaping or photographing people and creating a film clip via editing raw footagePreparing background film or “B” roll as well as live feedTroubleshoots problems with the equipmentInserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a videoPortfolio required with examples of video projectsMakes recommendations for best practices for video creation and storage and distribution of final videos.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

BA/BS in videography, digital editing, visual communications, or a related program area

Required Experience:

3+ years of experience in the field of video production

Required Skills & Abilities:

Demonstrated experience producing original training, corporate, and/or government videosProficient computer software skills including expertise in PC-based Adobe Creative Cloud -- particularly After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and BridgeProficient in Microsoft Office 365 basics including Video, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint

Security Clearance Level:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

The likely salary range for this position is $63,630 - $86,088. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
