Internship Job/Responsibilities:
If you have the desire to grow your news photography/videography skills, take initiative, and have the ability to reflect on your work and apply feedback, then you could be our next intern. This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best, award-winning journalists in the business. This is a paid, part-time internship!
Intern duties/responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Must be available to work 20 hours per week. We are a 24/7 news operation, so days/nights/weekend shifts are available.
- Must have a responsible presence on social media/other digital platforms.
Internship Qualifications/Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proven news judgment, ethics, and integrity.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record and must be compliant with company policy.
- Must have some videography experience.
- Strong work ethic, organizational and leadership skills.
- Must be able to work quickly, make deadlines, multi-task, and show composure in spot news situations.
